I just found out that two of my paintings (pictured here) titled "Must Be A School Day" and "On Her Toes" were
juried in to the Pasadena Society of Artists 84
th Annual exhibit.
The show will be held at VIVA Gallery in Sherman Oaks, CA from April 29 - May 16. I am thrilled!
Congratulations, that's wonderful news! Of course your work is so beautiful I can't imagine you would have any problem getting into a juried show. Best of luck in the show, I hope you win awards and have loads of sales!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim. This whole painting thing is still very new to me so I am ALWAYS surprised when others like my work!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being juried into PSA's exhibit at VIVA! Your paintings are beautiful with wonderful texture.

ReplyDeleteHello Leslie,
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed looking at all your paintings on this blog. Your brush work is beautiful and I particularly love the subjects with boats.
I love your work. Wish my palette knife would work like that, it seems to have a mind of its own!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Leslie! You deserve An award in my book.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful, and so deserving! I love your work!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Your work has that UNIQUE edge. Enjoyed your last post of boats on green, a very nice mellow green. Interesting that you achieved it with a bright green under painting.
ReplyDeleteReally nice work, Leslie! Like the texture in your paintings...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
