Two Trees, Oil, 8" x 6"
I like the spring colors in this painting. It is so beautiful outside today. I really hope the weather is this beautiful for the weekend. Gotta love Southern California! TGIF!

Rahina,
Thanks for your commnets. I do think your comparison to Van Gogh is somewhat funny ... I have a few hundred more years of painting to deserve such a compliment ... but thanks!

Becky,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Your watercolors are wonderful! I am inspired to give watercolors a try but so intimidated by talent such as yours! Glad to have found you!

Kathleen and David,
Welcome to my blog! Glad you like the painting. I had a busy day today - I finished three paintings ... one good one and two that are just ok. Hopefully I can paint at least two more tomorrow! Now that would be great so I can get ahead for the week with this silly blog!

Thanks for your kind words re: my watercolors. I'm glad to have found your blog also! Always inspiring to see others making art, no matter their medium. Keep painting!

Hi Leslie, I love the way you blend your colors with a palette knife. I have no idea how you do it, but it's beautifully done!

Becky and Janelle,
Painting with a palette knife seems easy to me. I am not sure that I would know what to do with a brush! Of course, painting with watercolors looks way too hard!
