Near the Rialto

Near the Rialto, Oil 6" x 8"
I did this quick little study in preparation for a larger painting. I am painting much larger pieces this month as I get ready for the show at Gale's restaurant in July. Having fun but it is exhausting!
Clint Watson featured Marian Fortunati and "yours truly" in his newsletter today. Click here to read!

  2. I've just discovered your blog and am really enjoying your work and writing. Really well done!

Your paintings are so wonderfully expressive. When I think of Pasadena, I think of my grandparents who lived there in the 1930s and '40s. Guess it's changed a bit...way before our generation, but a beautiful area.

Best wishes with the upcoming exhibit. I'm sure it will be a great success.

  6. Leslie... Did you participate in the CAC Rialto/ SoPas paint out and show last year?? It was great.
I think they'll do it again in the fall. This would fit right in.

  7. Marian - I really wanted to participate but I was out of town. I will be there this year unless we are up north watching our oldest swim!

  8. How many paintings will you be having in the show? Are you framing, or do they not need frames?
