"Heading Home"
Oil, 6" x 6" on canvas panel

Painting makes me happy. I love bright colors, reflections in the water and those three reasons are why I painted this painting. After a long week in the office, what better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon than sailing in the bay? All it takes are a few hours and you will enjoy the beautiful seascape and silent peace while sailing on the water. Eventually it is time to head home ... back to reality and another week. But it is days like these that help us appreciate "free time".
Beautiful - love the reflection of the sail in the water!

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite quotes is "There are connoiseurs of blue just as there are connoiseurs of wine." You are a true connoiseur of blue.
