I have been promising myself I would do a palette knife painting video for quite some time now. After spending about 40 hours on my son's volleyball video I figured now was a good time to get it done. My editing skills are certainly refined and it was actually fun to do. Plus my new TB hard drive allows me plenty of storage for my video projects.
So my first palette knife demo is complete and you can view it here.
I love uplifting music so don't expect some slow playing classical music in the background ... I had a lot more fun with the Black Eyed Peas!

Hi Leslie,
You did it! Thanks, that was very informative, I recently bought a book about palette knife painting and this helps with explaining the concept.
loved the video-lots of fun to watch

Hi Leslie I like the cropped image here! It always energizes me to see your beautiful art!!!!
Hello Leslie.. Loved the video! It was exciting to see you in 'action'! Wonderful art. Looking forward to class in Sept. Julie Reagan
I think the video came out great! Maybe someday I'll actually be brave enough to try it. :)
Way to go! This video is beautifully done - both the painting AND the movie editing! Can't wait to see what comes next...
Like the video! You make it look so easy. What kind of surface I wonder? Thanks...fun to watch your technique
Congrats. on the video and nice painting.
Thanks Leslie. Great video. I just tried my first palette knife painting last week (getting ready for your Sept. workshop) and I loved it. I did my second one over the weekend. I'm hooked!
Great job on the video Leslie, it was fun to see your approach and the different sized knives you used...fun music too!
