Taking The Day Off - SOLD

I will be "taking the day off" tomorrow as I will be at the swimming national championships. I can't wait! In the meantime, I finished this fun painting. Gotta love the sun light!

My goodness you have a full life! Swimming championships - THAT would be exciting! I can't believe you did this painting with a palette knife - that's skill I could never hope to have! Gorgeous light!

Hi Leslie - I love this one too! Your compositions are incredibly solid and done with confidence. Since the boat trails off the right side of the painting, it risks pulling the viewers eye along with it. You take this risk often in your paintings, but you expertly find a way to keep us within the image area and enjoying all the wonderful things that are going on. Again - this one is awesome!!
