Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day Six

Day six. Hmmm. That means we are 20% done with the challenge! But this is the time where the novelty starts to wear off and it's really easy to come up with a reason not to complete the challenge. Painting 30 paintings in 30 days is not easy. It's challenging. But the things you are learning will propel you ahead in your art career at lightening speed. Let's start with time management. Then there is organization. One of the best things you are learning is how to just paint. Forget the procrastination, the excuses and the things that "get in the way". When you have to paint a painting every day you learn very quickly to put all of "the stuff" aside and focus. You are becoming more efficient. It pretty much buckles down to the saying, "just do it". So hang in there and just paint.

This painting was titled "Enticing Conversation" because a lot of it was painted while I was on the phone with one of my favorite artists! I know it sounds silly but it's true. I can talk and paint at the same time. It must because of all of the teaching I have done! And multi-tasking is one of my best traits. This painting has a lot of layers of paint and close to ten different colors. I can't remember exactly how many colors are in the painting. I just know there are a lot. And the colors are from my Fall Palette.
