Leaving the Winery

"Leaving the Winery"
Oil, 8" x 10" on canvas panel.
$350 unframed.

I spent the weekend at a wonderful plein air painting event at Falkner Winery that was hosted by Segil Fine Art Gallery and the Pasadena Art Gallery Association. It was wonderful, especially because I was also able to spend the weekend with my parents.
I met some wonderful artists and gallery owners and the scenery was very fun to paint. I don't get out to do these events very often but I am definitely going to add this to my goals for 2010! I really need to get out more often.

Leslie--this is a wonderful painting. Such a great design and sense of depth. You have a great eye and touch no matter what subject matter you decide to delve into. BEAUTIFUL!

This is a favorite of mine Leslie. It has a wonderful sense of depth and the color on the left is fabulous...a real winner all around!

Wow Leslie this is a great piece. And your comment about goals for 2010 registers with me that I need to start accessing mine for the new year too! Thanks.

Hey, Leslie!!
Wow you HAVE been busy!! I didn't realize that you went to this event as well. I have several other friends who went.
I've not been spending too much time on the computer lately and missed your most recent posts.
THIS is my favorite of the three but of course as with all of your work, they are all great... and yes it's fun to paint out, isn't it??
Funny... We were just discussing goals yesterday at lunch after our CAC meeting. Yep.... yep..... yep.... sigh.
