A Quiet Day

Boats #21
Oil, 6" x 6", on canvas panel
This painting is for sale.
Cost is $150 unframed.
Email me if you are interested.
The inspiration for this painting came from a photograph. But you would never know it. The original photo has beautiful blue water, a bright blue sky and mostly blue awnings on the sailboats! I guess you can say I was in a "pink mode" when I painted this. I love how it came out!

Have a great time on your vacation, Leslie!! I'm sure you'll find lots of inspiration even if you don't have much time.
Somehow I've come to realize that you seem to squeeze more in than most of us, though!!
Be well!

This is another WOW painting of boats and the water. How I would love to see your work in 'real life'

LOVE the pink water! Super! I love how it is almost abstract, yet completely captures a specific reality. Love your thick paint. Bravo.

Marian - thanks but I am not on vacation. Spending a few days with my son at a baseball tournament in Phoenix ... very hot here!
