I decided to really brighten up the boats in this painting as I was getting a bit bored with the same old sailboats. So I chose this coral color to liven up the scene. I then added it in the background to add a bit of harmony in the painting. Hope you like it!

Yes, of course! The color contrasts nicely with the green on the water...
Like it a lot! beautiful corals and love it against the gray-green water.
I do like it! The corals are great especially against the subtle greens in the water.
Carolina, Liz and Karen - thanks! I need to pay more attention to contrasts. But I agree, these do work well together. The coral is needed to brighten up the overcast sky and green water.
Fantastic. I love your combination of contempory issues and traditional. It makes not only gorgeous art but uniquely Saeta paintings.
It works well Leslie, another nice piece.

I love the colors combination here. beautifully painted.
Yes, I do like it. Just the right amount of repeat color in the buildings and reflections.
I love it too--gorgeous colors and shapes--it's just appealing in every way!
Leslie, I like your palette knife works. These two friends are my favorite. I don't know why =)
