Heading Home

"Heading Home"
Oil, 6" x 6" on canvas panel
$200 unframed.

Painting makes me happy. I love bright colors, reflections in the water and those three reasons are why I painted this painting. After a long week in the office, what better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon than sailing in the bay? All it takes are a few hours and you will enjoy the beautiful seascape and silent peace while sailing on the water. Eventually it is time to head home ... back to reality and another week. But it is days like these that help us appreciate "free time".

One of my favorite quotes is "There are connoiseurs of blue just as there are connoiseurs of wine." You are a true connoiseur of blue.

Your words bring this painting even more life, not that it needs help! Lovely.

Hi Leslie!.... This Canadian loves your Olympic Series and sailing subjects. The curling piece was a wonderfully designed piece. Your rich use of colour vibrates and resonates with every knife stroke laid!

Good Painting!

Yes, Leslie! These bright colors and the way you cropped the scene make this a stunning work.
