Twelve Days of Christmas - Day Five - SOLD

"Orange Reflections"
Oil, 6" x 6" framed.
Sold.

OK, I am stunned. Yesterday's "contest" generated 301 names for boat paintings. Which means ... of course ... that I will not have to come up with a name for one of my boat paintings for about TWO YEARS! You guys are amazing! It also took me almost two hours to make the list of all of the suggested names as they appeared everywhere ... in my email, on face book (in many different places) and on my blog. Wow.
The winner of the Fourth Day of Christmas palette knives is Susan Hogan Girard. Congratulations!
The prize for Day Four is a $25 gift certificate toward pretty much anything ... gift cards, gift tags, a workshop, painting, etc. And today is easy. I promise. Since I will be working on final preparations for our party (which is tonight ... OMG ...) you just need to comment on my blog or facebook post. That's it!

Hi Leslie, Great you had such a wonderful response to the request for boat names, it was fun. Love this painting, that wonderful orange color reflected into the water.

Pretty much spent my day driving from store to store Christmas shopping listening to you and Dreama on my itouch yesterday. What a fun way to get my shopping list marked off and still be doing something towards my art. Beautiful sailboat painting. I realize you are not asking for more boat names but a few I always get a kick out of is "HOT RUDDERED BUM" and A LUFF AFAIR.

Enjoy your party. I think all the winners should come to one of your parties (just kidding). Am inspired to knife paint again especially since I won the knife set. Thank you Leslie. I plan to paint and listen to your radio show on Dec. 23rd.
