You might have guessed I have a new obsession with antique Ball jars.  It's funny because I have owned many of them for years but I have only painted one of these maybe once? Last week I took this photo at the Ventura Antique Flea Market and I have been obsessed ever since. And yes, I purchased a few too. I now have about 10 of these scattered throughout my beach house and I love them! (Also, the Wednesday Ventura Antique Flea Market is now a formal field trip in my Three Day Painting Workshops. It's only a few minutes away and we spend about an hour there looking for treasures. It's one of my favorite things to do!)
So be prepared to see a few more versions of these jars on my blog during the 30 in 30 Challenge!

I start teaching again in a few days and still have some openings in a few of my workshops. Feel free to email me if you are interested!

My upcoming workshops:
Jan 14 - 16 - Palette Knife Painting, South Pasadena, CA
Jan 20 - Building a website in a Day, Ventura, CA
Feb 3 - 5, Painting in Paradise at the Beach, Ventura, CA
Feb 10 - 12, Palette Knife Painting, Atlanta, GA

Check out the website for our new beach house in Ventura, Ca. I am now teaching workshops at the beach and renting out the house. Come stay and paint with me! I have workshops scheduled in the next twelve months in South Pasadena, Ventura Beach, Newport Beach, Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, Ga. Click here for more information!
