Banana Boat II

"Banana Boat II"
40" x 30" on canvas.

I had a hard time photographing this today. I am sure you have heard about the rains in Los angeles. Apparently we had a tornado here too today. The painting was too big to put in my light box so this photo will have to do for now.
We filmed a commercial at our house today which is not something one should really do when it is raining. There were about 50 people here all day and they filmed in our garage, backyard, entryway, family room, living room, staircase and master bedroom. Needless to say, they were everywhere! So I just hid on the third floor (in my studio) and spent more time getting organized, writing thank you notes and painting! Not a bad day! Except for the mud all over my house ...

Wow a BIGGIE!!! Yay for you!! yes the rain is hampering our artistic lifestyle for us spoiled lil' southern californian artists...especially us "daily painters" that depend on our sunshine to capture that days work!

A very nice large work. Excellent balance and color control.

Wow what a great painting. I sure would like to watch you in action with that pallet knife.

Leslie, don't know how I missed this one. Much more muted colours, appeals to my instinctive love of murkiness, LOL. Honestly, I love the subtlety in this.
