I had so much fun painting this painting. The reflections were awesome to paint, not to mention the fact that I love cranberry glass. I photographed these glasses using the bright sun to create the reflections. In my workshop last week I was able to show my students why having a strong light source is so important. One gal commented, "Wow. Even if I don't learn another thing, this photo lesson made the workshop worthwhile!".

I taught a wonderful website workshop today. At lunch (made by yours truly) everyone was jumping up and down as they couldn't believe they had already created websites. Late in the afternoon I put every one's new websites up on the big screen for Show and Tell. I think we were all impressed with what everyone had accomplished. As promised, everyone left happy at 4:00 with a new website for their art! Here is my schedule for future web classes.

My upcoming workshops:
Feb 3 - 5, Painting in Paradise at the Beach, Ventura, CA
Feb 10 - 12, Palette Knife Painting, Atlanta, GA
March 17 - 19, Painting in Paradise at the Beach, Ventura, CA

Check out the website for our new beach house in Ventura, Ca. I am now teaching workshops at the beach and renting out the house. Come stay and paint with me! I have workshops scheduled in the next twelve months in South Pasadena, Ventura Beach, Newport Beach, Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, Ga. Click here for more information!
