I am so blessed with an amazing husband and family. We will be so sad when our oldest heads off to college (he is going to swim for Stanford in the fall) but I guess the thing about children is that they do grow up! I am just so blessed to have three boys that love their mom so much!

God Bless My Boys
Pin It
I am so glad it is Friday! I am hosting a baby shower tomorrow (my sister in law is having twin boys!) and I have so much to do! All week I have been reminded of what it was like when my boys were babies. Did I ever mention that we had three boys in 36 months? Now that they are all in high school - freshman, sophomore and senior - I can barely remember what it was like to have three in diapers, three in car seats and three with chicken pox!

great story. you are fortunate to have such great kids. nice painting too.
Fabulous painting, Leslie! Love the range of greens in this one. 3 boys so close in age. zowie! You must have had a LOT of energy and great organizational skills! : ) Bet the shower will be perfect. Have fun!
Thanks Liz. Sage green is such a great color and I love to put it in my paintings. I do have a busy life ... but I love it!
Lovely painting! I know what it is to have a senior and a freshman in high school these days. My daughter is a Senior I swimmer for TXLA and is too entering college this fall. She is a great breaststroker, but was not quite fast enough for the recruiters. She hopes to continue her swimming by walking onto the team, depending on where she goes. And boy, am I thankful to have that process almost over! You must be very proud of your son, that is quite an accomplishment! And three that close together... yet you have time to paint! You rock!
Leslie, I left you an award. Please come and get it.
What a sweet tribute to them. They must be very special. And, I love that spot of red...it's just fantastic.
OMG... and you survived.... AND you still look great!!!
It is wonderful to have a loving family and that you are all proud of one another!! Way to go Leslie!! Your boys are lucky to have you just as you are lucky to have them and their father!!
Another beautiful painting, Leslie. I love the color combination. Sounds like you have a very wonderful family.
Leslie, this is a beautiful painting with great color and thick paint. A winner!
With the second of my 2 boys a senior in high school, I understand what you are going through. Sounds like you have done your job well, congrats!!
Lovely painting. It is painful when they leave for college. And everytime they visit and leave again. Still you have to be proud of what you have instilled so that they have the ambition to not only attend a college but to be admitted to Stanford.
You are a very lucky lady and it shows in your paintings. The beauty you feel in your heart certainly does show. Happy for you
Ellie
