Sailing Past the Marina

"Sailing Past the Marina"
Oil, 6" x 6" on canvas panel.

I have been out of town for almost two weeks ... I spent over a week in Hawaii for business and three days up in northern California visiting our freshman son in college. I am exhausted but so happy to be home again!
Now it is time to get back to my studio. Sorry that I have been posting so little but I find it hard to paint when I am on the road! New paintings tomorrow, I promise!

Leslie--when it is not a painting trip and you post anything I am impressed--I know firsthand "it ain't easy"! I just appreciate you posting a bit of Hawaii for us--I can feel that tropical breeze from your work!! Enjoy being back in your studio amongst your paints...:)

Very much like the colors in this painting. Your water is scrumptious, and would never of thought of that color for the sails.

It is so hard to paint when on a business trip, even sketching and then getting a photo of what you have done is hard to fit in! I was thinking of you and your boys last week when I was on the Stanford campus for just such a trip.
