It's hard to believe there are only two more days left of my Birthday Challenge. It's been really fun and I really appreciate that so many of you have participated! I spent most of my day doing busy work. I actually lost my sling, and I am not kidding, so I couldn't wear it today either.  I just finished a video of the CIF baseball championship win for the banquet tomorrow night. It was a lot of fun and it gave me an idea for today's birthday challenge prize ...

The Day Six Birthday Free Giveaway is a video of your artwork. That's right. I will create a short (up to about 8 minutes) video featuring your art. All you will need to do is provide me with photos of your artwork and I will create the video for you. The process to create these videos is not difficult and it will be one of the first on-line classes I will be teaching in the fall.

To enter, all you have to do is spread the word about my favorite radio show, Artists Helping Artists. You can do that by placing a "badge" on your blog or website. It's really easy to do: Go to the AHA Blog  and find the badge that looks like the picture on the left. Then click SHARE and add it to your blog. You can also share our showon your Facebook. Don't forget to go to the Artists Helping Artists page on BlogTalkRadio and sign up as a follower of the show.

I have had a lot of interest in my paintings of colleges and universities. Quite some time ago I promised some of my Cal Berkeley friends that I would paint at least one Cal painting, especially since Stanford is so predominantly featured on my website. So for all you Bears fans ... here it is!

I am still working on the Mayfield Senior School painting, It is taking me forever ... so I took a break and tried another silhouette. This ended up being a very simple and straightforward painting.

I am off to Bakersfield tomorrow to watch my son swim. Then he will be at USC on Saturday for a big meet. I just found out we are feeding the team here after the meet. I am thrilled!

I have lots of good news on exhibitions for the next few months. More on that later!
