Reflection of a Sail

Reflection of a Sail, Oil, 6" x 8"
I am not crazy about this one but I spent so much time today on the school auction (that I am in charge of) that I had no time to paint tonight! So this is the only new painting I had available to post. I will paint more this weekend!

Great bright orange sail and reflection.

That sail is so striking! The way you pushed back the distant shore and boats in the background is very nice.

Beautiful painting, Leslie! I love the red sail.

This has this wonderful soft vs. hard quality to it that I'm going to try to remember as I work today.

Kim, Edward and Karen,
You are all too nice to me since this is really a sub-par painting. Hopefully something better will come off my easel today!

How can you not be crazy about this one. I totally love the color scheme, the composition and the subject matter. It has an abstract quality of the highest order. You WILL be crazy about this one. Just give it time.

This one's really nice.

Very simple....but sometimes simple is a good thing.

I love the reddish-orange here!
