Two Reflections
Pin It
I painted this one last night after a long day on jury duty. I felt a bit rushed and frustrated but I liked it a lot more when I saw it on my easel this morning. Funny how that always happens. Hope you like it!

Frastration is good in your case. Very nice I love it.
I missed your last post... You must be getting them out really fast these days. I like them both although they are quite different.
Glad your SF was fun.
Your palette knife work is so lively... wish I knew how to do it!!
Irit,
Thanks. I guess sometimes frustration can be a good thing!
Leslie
Marian,
You are such a sweetheart. We should get together to paint sometime and I will hand you a palette knife - I promise. (But you have to promise to help me with a brush!).
It's great. It must have felt good to paint after jury duty, in spite of fatigue. I just got called for jury duty too-bleh!!
it's wonderful when you can see something on the canvas and then just do it from the heart. it's that wonderful zone that is so rare for me... r.
I'm not a big fan of thick paint but this piece is just lovely.
Jala - Have fun on jury duty! I wish I could talk about my case, but it will have to wait until it is over. Thanks for your kind words.
Rahina,
I do love those onions you painted this week! You are sooo talented. I am thrilled you have visited my blog. Thanks.
I love your reflections. It's very effective how the 'real' scene is thick, and the water is smoother.
Bill (or Lisa),
Thanks for visiting my blog. Can;t wait to see how those students painted the striped fabric. My palette knife paintings are always so thick, just depends on my mood, I suppose.
